I am in great physical condition, have a good head, and a strong back. I'm not afraid of working long hours in testing environments. I have never sailed but given my experience and ability to learn, I believe I would have no troubles picking it up quite quickly. |

Experience level 1: Hello, I live over in Paia, Maui. I'm looking for help or for information on how to crew on a boat headed towards other south pacific island such as Christmas Island, or Fiji or others. Does anyone know of someone sailing in that direction that needs help on their boat? Mahalo. |

Experience level 3: I am looking to crew on any boat headed west from Hawaii, preferably to Midway or the Marshalls, in the early part of 2012. My boat (a 31 foot ketch named Murre) and I are one year into a two year solo cruise and have completed runs from San Francisco to the Sea of Cortez down to and through French Polynesia and up to Hawaii. I am currently in Kauai and will be in the Hawaiian Islands until May/June of 2012 when I will be departing solo for San Francisco via BC, so I have a few months to kill. I would dearly love to visit Midway, but cannot in my own boat if I hope to stay on schedule. But I could make the passage in your boat. More about me here: www.murreandthepacific.wordpress.com. In addition to this year's solo passages, I crewed on a 40 foot sloop from Hanalei Bay to Tofino on Vancouver Island in 2005--23 days. Thank you for the consideration. Initial contact is better via email than phone. |

Experience level 3 but always learning: Currently doing middle on a Wavelength 24. I've owned 9 different sailboats, 3 Santana 20's, Wylie 28, Schock 23, Catalina 30, Lido 14, etc. I've raced yacht club series races, district races, nationals, etc. You can google me or go to the Santana20.org web page. My last Santana 20 was the One Eyed Chicken Boat. (Skipper had one eye). Competent in all positions (fore deck is somewhat iffy) but prefer to do middle (pole, spinnaker, genoa). One design, larger boats, offshore travel, trouble shoot. We owned a Tayana 37. Also and would love to crew on some Island crossings. Also my wife Zoe is a great fore deck and better navigator. We are moving to Honolulu between April
and May 2012. We would love to meet fellow sailors and go fast. |

Experience level 3: I'm currently a 20 year old sophomore at UH, I sailed in the San Francisco Bay all through high school, and was an active member of Sea Scouts. After high school, I took a year off and did an Atlantic crossing from Cape Town to Antigua on a 112' schooner, and then went on to earn a captain's license. Professional experience includes working as an instructor for two summers at a kid's sailing camp, working as 2nd mate on a 90ft schooner out of San Francisco, and teaching the adult sailing classes for UH. I went to Friday night races at HYC once or twice last year, but my schedule ended up being too busy to keep doing it regularly. However, in the near future, I'm really interested in any and all long distance cruising and racing, as well as day sails and the occasional Friday night. If you ever need an experienced crew member or watch officer, provided I can fit it in my schedule, I'm more than eager to help. Please feel free to call or email! | December 13 - 2011

I just need to get out onto the beautiful waters out here. Looking forward to hearing from you! Mahalo, Zach | November 15 - 2011

Experience Level 1.5: Began sailing in Lake Travis in Austin on friends' 22' Catalina during the summer of 2008. Loved it, but I've been too busy to follow up. Experience Level 2: I'll be working in Honolulu this summer (2011) and am looking to get some sail time in. I'm currently a competing member of a nationally ranked college sailing team; I only started two years ago but I've been soaking up the sport like a sham-wow. I have experience on dinghies such as 420s, CFJs, JY15s, and Snipes, and keelboats such as J24s and sportboats such as the Melges 20. I'm definitely a light-air crew (or extra rail-meat for heavy air) at 5' and 98lbs but I make up for it in effort and attitude =]. Aloha and mahalo! |

Experience Level 2.5: I have been sailing all my life, much of which has taken place on the mainland where we use to race smaller boats at a young age. I've been sailing in Hawaii now on and off for the past 10 years, many times at the Friday night race. The boat and owner that I sailed with is no longer in Hawaii so I have been looking to get involved with another boat and crew. Still have plenty to learn but am serious about becoming part of a crew to not only improve my sailing skills but to also have some fun and win some races. I live with my family in Hawaii Kai. My son Jake who just turned 16 is also learning to sail an if the opportunity exists, he would also love to be part of a crew. My wife would also love to help crew. I consider our family to be in great shape and able to work very hard at any position available. We are not particular about any type or size of a boat but rather becoming part of a great group of people out to have some fun sailing the beautiful waters of Hawaii! Being self employed and owning three different business' keeps us extremely busy but it also allows us to be somewhat flexible with our schedules. Thank you for the opportunity and I hope to here from someone very soon! |

Experience Level 1: I've been traveling for quite some time which has made me super self-reliant. I've been spending my days recently trying to build human-powered flying machines and studying cartography and listening to the river dogs howl. Guaranteed, I will make your trip more fun. A traveler by occupation, I'm also a farmer and a dog-shepherd and soon-to-be sailor in between. Young, female, little sailing experience but I've been super-eager to learn since I was little. I'd really like to learn navigation but I'm down for doing anything. I like hard manual labor. I never complain. I'm an excellent cook and handy with tools and repairing things; I can tell you stories and draw you pictures and all the while play you songs on the bone-guitar. |

Experience Level 3: Avid San Francisco racer. In addition to driving (J-105) regularly crew in all positions on the J-105 including foredeck. Regularly crew a Folkboat, trimming and foredeck (whisker pole). The only area where I am not experienced is with a symetrical spinny...not much time in that configuration. Would like to crew and serve as race committee. |

Experience Level 3: Happiest when on foredeck duties (dip pole and end for end jibe exp) but will help fill spaces anywhere crew is needed. Short distance offshore and plenty bay racing experience ( Hawaii and California ). Let me know if you need an extra set of hands or even just added rail meat! |
