Dear Valued Members,
Welcome all New 2008 Members:
Our club is known for it’s united team of volunteers who spend their valuable time making this club a special place.
HYC’s Managing Staff:
The management of the Hawaii Yacht Club is the responsibility of the Board of Governors. The Governor position is a three (3) year commitment. The Commodore, Vice Commodore, Rear Commodore for Sail, and Rear Commodore for Power are the designated Flag Officers. The Commodore shall be the Chairman of the Board and assumes the roll of the Chief Executive Officer. The Vice Commodore shall assist the Commodore in his/her absence.
Volunteers:
As a new member we are hoping that in the future some of you might be interested in holding one of these positions described above. New members are very important for the future of our club. So how do we start working toward obtaining these positions described above? It’s by volunteering and getting involved! If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about the Officer’s role at HYC please give the office a call. Don’t forget to read your HYC Constitution By-Laws and Standing Rules and check us out on our web site.
