Aloha Sailors,

The Mesick Series includes the Friday night navigational race, where there is no use of GPS equipment allowed during the race.

The sailors are given coordinates for a mystery mark, which they have to round before heading back to the finish. This year we also made it mandatory to round DH buoy as part of the course. We must have done a good job hiding the mark a.k.a. Mekake, as some boats were seen heading offshore, while the mark was just a little passed the entrance to Kewalo Basin.

On Saturday, there were two windward-leeward races off the shores of Waikiki, and Sunday they sailed to Kokohead

and home.
