Our mission is to provide education and participation opportunities to the Hawaii Yacht Club members through structured lessons and social events thereby contributing to the growth and enrichment our sailing community.

Mainsail Mondays
2nd and 4th Monday
Join us at HYC for adult dinghy sailing, BBQ, and more. The bar will be open, the grill will be hot (BYOF = food), and the dinghies will be rigged.

Intro to Sailing

This two-day classroom and on water course will get you started on the water with the basic knowledge of sailboats and how they work.

Keelboat Basics
May 18th and 19th
9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Expanding from the basics and building the skills for boat handling larger boats, loads, and gear. This 2 day course will focus on boat and gear handling, sail trim, basic navigation, and more.

Club Sailing
Every Saturday In June
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
This less-formal series provides a great opportunity to expand your knowledge while getting on the water with fellow members. We will meet at the Aloha dock, have a brief discussion of our objective of the day and then set sail. These sessions are limited to 6 HYC members only.
